Ham Soo-yun was born in 1977 in Seoul, Korea. She got BFA&MFA from Sungkyunkwan University in Seoul and got a master degree in art from Ludwig Maximilian University of Munich, Germany. Her solo exhibition is at U Art Space 2010, SEQUENCE at GALLERY IS, Kim.jinhye Gallery and ‘her residence-Ihr Wohnsitz, 225 Heiglhofstr.66’ in Muich 2007. Also she was selected young artist SeMA(Seoul Museum Of Art) 2009. Other significant group exhibitions are at Seongnam Cultural Foundation, Korea-Mideast forum: beauty of Korea at Cairo Opera House in Egypt 2008, Seoul Museum of Art, KiMi Art, Gallery skape. She got Korea Student Aid Foundation (KOSAF) Chairperson Scholarship in 2009 including DAAD study scholarship from Ludwig Maximilian University of Munich in 2006
